10 Things You Should NOT Expect From Oh, Hush! in 2012

Can you believe we’re already at the end of 2011? What a year it’s been!! I feel so blessed to still be making music for you four years after starting this little “experiment” called Oh, Hush! I hope the free-song-every-month game this past year has been the cherry on top of your cupcake of 2011 (whatever the heck that means).

So what can you expect from Oh, Hush! in 2012? There’s so many things coming up that I thought it would be easier to give you a list of 10 things you should NOT expect from Oh, Hush! in 2012. I call it the “10 for ‘12.” Ready? Set? GO!

1) Don’t expect to have to pay for music from us. We will continue to give away free music in 2012!! (Of course you are still welcome to buy our songs off iTunes… if you INSIST!)

2) Please don’t expect to find out who’s in Oh, Hush! in 2012. Unless of course I slip up… which could happen. Remember: Oh, Hush! = ALL.ABOUT.THE.MUSIC.

3) Don’t expect me to be the lead singer on every song we release in 2012. I work with some amazingly talented folks and plan to have some great featured stars on our new songs! (Justin Bieber says he’s down for a duet!)

4) Don’t expect us to write songs that make for good background music or have lots of “indie cred.” That’s not really my style. Look for great upbeat songs that you can dance or make love to!

5) Don’t expect boring new merch items from us. Those of you who have been around for a while know that when we do merch we do it BIG and we do it RIGHT! So expect some KILLER new merch items in 2012!

6) Don’t expect an email from us on the 11^th of each month. We send out emails on the 10^th of each month. I’m not gonna promise a new song every month (though I will promise one at least every other month). But we’ll have something fun every month – the 10^th of the month is ours!

7) You shouldn’t expect to be able to write a song with Oh, Hush! in 2012… unless of course you win some crazy contest that we might have…!?!

8) Don’t expect me to write a book in 2012.I’m saving that one for 2013.

9) Don’t expect traditional live shows from Oh, Hush! anytime soon. Every other band in the world can go on stage and play a real show in a real club, but we’re not like every band. Our first live show is gona be a private skype performance for the awesome fan who purchased it. Look for more unique live shows in 2012.

10) Don’t expect to be able to spend a day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom with Oh, Hush!…. unless you have some left over Christmas money! In which case, check out this great offer: Magic Kingdom With Oh, Hush!

Don’t expect any of these things from Oh, Hush! in 2012. Instead look for lots of craziness, mystery, great music and fun!!
